St. Matthew's Ramblers are a Wigan based walking club of 150 members, based at the Parish Hall of St. Matthew's C. of E. Church, Highfield, near Wigan in the North West of England.
Each month the club arranges a walk in an area within about 75 miles of Wigan and because of it's location this takes in such areas as The Lake District, Peak District, Yorkshire Dales, and North Wales.
A bus is hired for the day and an after walk meal is booked in a local pub in the walk area.
Because of demand, travel is limited to club members only.

BECAUSE OF INCREASED HIRE CHARGES BY OUR COACH COMPANY TICKETS ARE NOW £8.50.
Note: Ticket selling now starts as soon as possible after the club's opening time of 7.00pm.
People using cars to attend walks will now pay a car levy of £8.50 if any seats are unsold - if all seats are sold the car levy reverts to £3.
ALWAYS BE SURE YOU CHECK THE DEPARTURE TIME.
